Port-de-Paix --  Probably, the most beautiful, most peaceful city of Haiti.  A place Christopher Colombus and the Spaniards named Valparaiso, (Vallee du  paradis).  A city where the people are proud and have a sense of independence, leadership and entrepreneurship.  They enjoy staying away from political unrests and do not beg the Haitian governments, instead they build their own businesses.  Some of the top Haitian musicians, poets, writers and  intellectuals  and politicians are from Port-de-Paix.                                              More Pictures of Port-de-Paix>
